Mangistau oblast athlete became Kazakhstan kickboxing champion

Mangistau oblast athletes won eight medals in Kazakhstan Youth Kickboxing Championship that was held in Baikonur, Tengrinews.kz reports, citing regional Lada.kz website. More than 200 athletes from all the regions of Kazakhstan took part in the competitions. 17 athletes from Aktau, Zhanaozen and different villages represented Mangistau oblast. Zhanar Atagullayeva (65 kilograms) won a gold medal. Nurlyzhan Selikov (57 kilograms) gained the second gold medal. At present the athletes are getting trained for Schoolchildren Spartakiad that will start on May 2 in Atyrau. Later on they will start an intense training prior to the World Kickboxing Championship that will be held in Hungary in the middle of May.
