Kazakhstan’s President Nursultan Nazarbayev is to visit Malaysia on a state visit April 17-18, Kazakhstan Foreign Ministry spokesman Altai Abibullayev announced April 11. According to Mr. Abibullayev, President Nazarbayev is to meet Sultan Abdul Halim and Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Abdul Razak. The sides are expected to exchange opinions on key issues of bilateral cooperation and acute international issues. Besides, President Nazarbayev is expected to meet representatives of the business elite of Malaysia. Malaysia’s Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak visited Kazakhstan early June 2011. Before visiting Malaysia President Nazarbayev is to pay the first ever state visit to Indonesia April 12-14. He is expected to meet his counterpart Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono. To foster trade and economic cooperation between the two nations, the sides will attend a special business forum.
