Cuban musician of Eminencia Clasica died in Shymkent, cause of death identified

A member of the Cuban band Eminencia Clasica Bladimir Cabrera was delivered to the hospital in the clinical death condition, Tengrinews.kz reports citing Deputy Chief Doctor of the South Kazakhstan Oblast hospital Marat Pashimov. According to the doctors, the patient had no pulse, no blood pressure and no breath. A medical team consisting of a surgeon, emergency physician and anesthesiologist tried to bring the singer back for 45 minutes. The emergency measures did not help, however. The cause of his death was defined during a forensic test. The band's producer announced the final statement of the doctors on the cause of the musician's death to the journalists. Zarina Kan said that the singer died almost immediately of pancreatonecrosis (a complicated stage of pancreatitis). Kan stressed that the gossips of the musician's drug addiction are not true. Bladimir Cabrera did not even smoke, she said. On March 17 Bladimir Cabrera felt sick during the concert in Shymkent. He complained of a pain in the chest and then fainted. However, when the singer was taken off to the hospital, his band-mates decided to continue the concert. The singer's body will be transported to Cuba on March 22. The lying-in-state ceremony will be held in Almaty.
