Kazakhstan President Nursultan Nazarbayev called the countries to cooperate under G-Global, Tengrinews.kz reports. “The global information community that is our world becoming today, requires new approaches to the international relations architecture. First of all, there should be a fair order of taking global decisions. The reality is that neither G8 nor G20 are enough today. It is seen in the world. That’s why I have suggested a new format, G-Global, a wider platform for finding solutions for current problems of the global financial systems and modeling the UN 's systematic comprehensive anti-crisis plan,” the President said at the meeting with the representatives of the diplomatic missions accredited in Astana. He called all the countries, politicians, NGOs, experts and scientists for cooperation under G-Global. “G-Global is both a virtual (via the Internet) and a real form of dialoging. By the way, our website (www.gglobal.aef.kz) has become very popular. We are using it to prepare for Astana Economic Forum to be held this May,” Nazarbayev said and invited all countries to take part in this forum. Besides, the President expressed an opinion that the world’s policy has to work out new global principles. In his opinion, such constructivity, multi-polarity, political tolerance and all these forms have to be set forth in the basic documents of the United Nations and the whole system of international law. "As diplomats say, paper has always been the most reliable tool of international relations. At the same time all the countries have to realize the shared responsibility for the future of their regions and the planet in general. It is necessary to closer interact in all areas of the sustainable development,” Nursultan Nazarbaev noted and expressed his hope for the Global conference Rio+20 to be held in June. The President said that Kazakhstan will present its Green Bridge initiative at the conference. This initiative includes creation of artificial forests and natural landscapes. The second initiative is a global energy-ecological strategy. “According to experts, in the nearest 20 years mankind's need for energy will increase by 40 percent. Meanwhile, over 1.5 billion people live without access to electric power now,” he said. Kazakhstan President first suggested establishing G-Global instead of G-20 on December 15, 2011 at the official meeting timed to the 20th anniversary of Kazakhstan’s independence.
