DDoS attacks on BTA website

Corporate website of BTA Bank has come under DDoS attacks and the bank’s management decided to suspend the website’s operation for security reasons, Tengrinews.kz reports citing the company’s press-service. “The bank is notifying all clients that all the services of BTA Internet-banking (www.my.bta.kz) are available and functioning normally: the users will be able to transfer and receive the money and make payments. BTA Bank is apologizing for the problems with access to information from other pages of the website,” the bank’s message states. The works are currently performed to eliminate the problems and restore full functioning of the website. The website is expected to fully resume working in the nearest time.
