Head of Kazakhstan Customs Control Commission dismissed

Chairman of the Customs Control Commission of Kazakhstan's Finance Ministry Serik Baimaganbetov was released from his position by the government decree, Interfax-Kazakhstan reports citing the commission’s press-service. Nurzhan Ashikhanov has been appointed acting chairman of the commission. Earlier he worked as the deputy chairman of the commission. Baimaganbetov was appointed chairman of the Customs Control Commission last May. Earlier he served as the Interior Minister, head of the Department of Law-Enforcement and Judicial Systems of the Presidential Administration, deputy chairman of the State Agency on Countering Economic and Corruption Crimes.
