Kazkahstan’s PM Karim Massimov has launched a new section on his web site”, Tengrinews.kz journalist reports. "Today, I launched a new section on my website which aims to improve the transparency of the Government’s activities. I believe that we should take advantage of the opportunity presented by the internet to open up the Government to the public. Increased transparency will make the Government more accessible and efficient. We have taken the first steps in this regard by publishing key provisions of Strategic Action Plans of Government ministries and agencies. Open and transparent Government is not simply a trend. Instead, it is a means to improve the Government’s performance. Currently, we are developing new performance criteria for state bodies. I look forward to receiving your suggestions".
