Kazakhstan won silver at 2012 Youth Olympics

Kazakhstan biathlete Galina Vishnevskaya won silver in sprint at the 2012 Winter Youth Olympic Games, Ria Novosti reports. Vishnevskaya finished a 6 kilometers race with two shootings rounds second: 17 minutes 55,2 seconds. She failed to hit two targets. Galina was 27,5 seconds behind the winner. Franziska Preuss from Germany (17.27,7) won the competition. Russian biathlete Uliana Kaysheva took the bronze (18.0,9). Preuss skied around one penalty loop while Kaysheva got two penalty loops. The 1st Winter Youth Olympic Games will finish on January 22.
