Astana Arlans boxers will hold two domestic fights in Almaty in the framework of World Series of Boxing on request of the fans, Tengrinews.kz reports, referring to Bolat Mankenov, Kazakhstan boxing team executive director.
“We have decided to hold two fights in Baluan Sholak Sports Complex in Almaty because there were many requests from our fans. It would be convenient to organize the fights in Almaty, because the club will be training exactly in Almaty-city after January 15,” Mankenov said.
So, Astana Arlans will hold the fights against Milano Thunder and Mumbai Fighters on February 3 and 17 correspondingly. Meanwhile the nearest WSB match will take place in Astana. The national team coached by Beibut Yeszhanov will fight against Los Angeles Matadors on January 14.
Astana Arlans team opened the WSB season with fights against these American boxers on November 14 . Los Angeles Matadors won 3:2 then.
