Voskoboeva lost the match against Italian Francesca Schiavone 4:6, 4:6 in the second round of the tournament's singles. In the first round Voskoboeva played against Russian Vera Dushevina and won 6:0, 6:0. Paired with Chinese Su-Wei Hsieh she played against Russian Nina Bratchikova and French Kristina Mladenovic and lost 7:5, 3:6, 10:4 on January 3, 2012.
