Kazakhstan tennis professional Galina Voskoboeva failed to reach the quarterfinals of Brisbane Tournament that is held in Australia, Tengrinews.kz reports, citing the official WTA website. Voskoboeva lost the match against Italian Francesca Schiavone 4:6, 4:6 in the second round of the tournament's singles. In the first round Voskoboeva played against Russian Vera Dushevina and won 6:0, 6:0. Paired with Chinese Su-Wei Hsieh she played against Russian Nina Bratchikova and French Kristina Mladenovic and lost 7:5, 3:6, 10:4 on January 3, 2012.
