Kazakhstan Foreign Ministry announced the name of the person apprehended in Ukraine in suspicion of terrorism, Tengrinews.kz reports. “According to Kazakhstan embassy in Kiev, the person is confirmed to be the citizen of Kazakhstan. He has Kazakhstan ID and passport. His name is Ardager Mukhitov, born on March 24, 1989 in Atyrau oblast,” official representative of Kazakhstan Foreign Ministry Altai Abibullayev said at the briefing on December 12. According to Abibullayev, the agreement on extradition was signed between General Prosecution offices of Kazakhstan and Ukraine and Mukhitov would be transferred to Kazakhstan. Kazakhstan embassy in Ukraine is closely working with law-enforcement authorities and is aware of all the details of the investigation. Last week Ukrainian Interior Ministry reported of a Kazakhstan citizen apprehended in Kiev oblast in suspicion of participation in a terrorist group. “The criminal not only called for terrorist attacks but also recruited people willing to take part in military actions in hot spots. The young man is an active member of a radical organization. There are also suspicions of implication of this organization in several explosions that caused suffering to peaceful residents,” the Ukrainian party stated.
