The fifth station called Baikonyr is located at the crossing of Abay and Baitursynov streets. According to the scheme, the distance between these two stations is the longest in the acting line.
The sixth station ib on Mukanov street. The station is called Auezov Theater.
The final station Alatau is located at Gagarin street.
The operating line of Almaty subway is marked in red.
The cost of the operating part of the subway is 166 billion tenge ($1.1 billion). The line is 8.56 km long. Its average depth is 40 meters.
Mobile communications will not be available in Almaty subway.
The cost of the trip is 80 tenge ($0.54). The residents will be able to use smart-cards that can be charged for 5 to 90 trips, as well as single-use slugs. The trains will cruise with an interval of 20 minutes during normal hours and every 9 minutes during rush hours.
