Kyrgyzstan National Security Commission is checking a criminal group for involvement in terrorist attack on November 12 in Taraz. The group was eliminated on October 8-9 in Kara-Suu town of Kyrgyzstan, Tengrinews.kz reports. “Kyrgyzstan National Security Commission does not rule out a possbility that this criminal religious-extremist group has been preparing a series of terrorist attacks at the territory of Kyrgyzstan. Connection of this group with the suicide bomber who has blown himself up on November 12 in Taraz is being investigated,” the press-service of Kyrgyzstan National Security Commission stated. The day before Kyrgyzstan police apprehended a man who may be related to the eliminated group. The man had self-made bombs with timing mechanisms, two self-made grenades with ignitors, two sawn-off plain-barrel guns and components for making a bomb: mixture of aluminum powder and ammonium nitrate. The total weight of the explosives was 716 kg. Besides, the police discovered 4 detonators for bombs, 5 boxes of bullets for Makarov gun, 74 bullets for AKM and wires for connection of detonators to bombs. Earlier Tengrinews.kz English reported that a terrorist attack happened in Taraz on November 12. 7 people fell victims of the accidents, five of them were police officers. The criminal blew himself up during apprehension.
