Misinterpretation of Islam by young people causes sad consequences, Tengrinews.kz reports citing Kazakhstan's General Prosecution office. Earlier the prosecutors gave details of the investigation of Atyrau blasts. The apprehended criminal group turned out to be connected with the Soldiers of Khalifat, an organizational fighting on the side of international terrorists. “I would like to note that incorrect understanding of genuine canons of Islam by young people and interest to alien religious ideologies cause sad consequences. In this relation I would like to call our people to stay alert, not panic, remain unprovoked and safeguard their friends and families from involvement in radical structures,” official representative of the General Prosecution office said. The prosecutors also stated that “law-enforcement authorities are in full control of the situation; such actions will be suppressed in future and the ones guilty will stand to the law and carry the punishment prescribed by our legislation.”
