National Bank of Kazakhstan has issued Moose Head and Karaganda commemorative coins, with a nominal value of five hundred and fifty tenge correspondingly, Tengrinews.kz reports, referring to the bank press-office. The Moose Head is the eighth coin in the series of Nomad’s Gold. The design of the series is based on images of gold pieces of works that were found at the territory of Kazakhstan in the course of archaeological excavations. The coin shaped as an icosahedron was released in five thousand copies. Karaganda coin is the third coin in The Cities of Kazakhstan series. Karaganda emblem is depicted on the reverse of the coin. It was issued in fifty thousand copies. Besides their collector value, the commemorative coins are accepted in accordance with their nominal value at the territory of Kazakhstan. The coins have been released in circulation on October 29. The National Bank of Kazakhstan recently issued Aitys commemorative coins that is the sixth pair of coins of Kazakh Traditions and National Games series, Tengrinews.kz reported on October 18. One of these coins, the one with a nominal value of five hundred tenge is a silver-proof quality coin, the second one, with a nominal value of fifty tenge is a silver nickel coin.
