Ozon.ru, Russia’s Amazon.com look-alike, to launch dispatch service in Kazakhstan in November

Ozon.ru, Russia’s largest Internet shop, will be operating in Kazakhstan since November 2011. According to Vedomosti newspaper, the sides are in the process of signing respective agreements. The Company will launch delivery outlets in Astana and Almaty as well as its own delivery service. A regular dispatch will take 7-10 days. Ozon.ru sells about 1.5 million items, including books, children’s toys, gadgets, footwear, thetre tickets, package tours and antiques.
