Common Economic Space to start operating on January 1, 2016

Common Economic Space (CES) will start operating on January 1, 2016, KazTAG reports citing Secretary General of EurAsEC Tair Mansurov. “17 international agreements of the CES have already been signed and will come into effect on January 1 next year; that will only mean start of its activities. The CES will start full-scale operation on January 1, 2016. This will require signing of anther 55 international agreements in 2011-2015 and the governments will have perform over 70 compulsory activities under these agreements,” he said at the international forum of EurAsEC on September 22. According to Mansurov, all these measures will provide for free movement of goods, services, capital and labor resources in common market of the three parties: Russia, Kazakhstan and Belarus.
