Kazakhstan and Austria discussed bilateral interaction

Nursultan Nazarbayev held a number of bilateral meetings after his speech at the 66th session of the General Assembly of the United Nations, Tengrinews.kz citing the President's press-service. September 21 Nursultan Nazarbayev met with the President of Austria Heinz Fischer in New York. According to the press-service, the parties discussed bilateral interaction between the countries and the agenda of the UN General Assembly's session. The same day Kazakhstan President met with Prime-Minister of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdoğan. “Bilateral relations were discussed at the meeting,” the press-service noted. Kazakhstan leader also met with the President of the European Council Herman Van Rompuy. “The meeting covered bilateral interaction and the agenda of the UN General Assembly's session,” Kazakhstan President's official website writes. On the sidelines of the session Nursultan Nazarbayev met with the President of Kyrgyzstan Roza Otunbayeva and the President of Finland Tarja Halonen, the press-service stated. September 21 Kazakhstan President took part in the 66th session of the General Assembly of the United Nations. Nursultan Nazarbayev warned the world of the critical era, possibility of the strong wave of economic crisis and called it to slow down the arms race. “Nursultan Nazarbayev's speech at the session of the UN General Assembly was thoughtful and interesting. There was positive reaction from the participants,” Director General of UN in Geneva Kassym-Jomart Tokayev wrote in his Twitter. Earlier Kazakhstan Minister of Foreign Affairs Yerzhan Kazykhanov, who was also part of Kazakhstan delegation in New York, posted in his Twitter: “In his speech our President gave a long capacious analysis of implemented and planned foreign policy initiatives of Kazakhstan.”
