Kazakhstan law enforcement authorities have eradicated an extremist group in Atyrau, Tengrinews.kz reports referring to the press-service of the Atyrau Oblast Procurator's Office. According to the authorities, members of the group were planning terrorist attacks in Atyrau Oblast and other regions of the country. One of the members of the group resisted arrest on August 29 and was killed with return fire. Investigation is underway, but no further details are available yet.
