Three medical trains rendering medical service in remote areas

Three Kazakhstan’s medical trains have provided healthcare services to 250 000 people for the 1.5 years since their launch, Vice Emergency Minister Valery Petrov told August 17. “Emergency Ministry along with Healthcare Ministry and KazakhstanTemirZholy National Railways Operator launched these three trains to make healthcare service available in remote areas of Kazakhstan. A total of 250 000 have received medical aid for the 1.5 years”, he said. “These three trains will be mostly focused on first medical aid in the wake of large-scaled emergencies”, he added. Earlier Tengrinews.kz had reported that the National Coordination Center of Emergency Aviation would be launched in July to render timely medical aid to victims of car crashes. “If first medical aid is rendered to victims of car crashes within an hour, disability and mortality rates fall nearly twofold”, Minister of Healthcare Salidat Kairbekova said when showing PM Massimov round the Center June 25.
