Astana Arlans to start WSB season with fight against Los Angeles Matadors

The Astana Arlans boxers will start the WSB Eason on November 11 with a fight abroad. They will fight Los Angeles Matadors from the United States, according to Naringe.kz. The drawing procedure for the WSB teams took place as part of a meeting of the International Amateur Boxing Association (AIBA) executive commitee in Astana. According to the new rules instead of being divided into regional conferences the teams will be divided into two groups. Besides the Kazakh and US clubs the A group also includes Russian Dinamo Moscow, Italian Milano Thunder, Korean Pohang Poseidons and a newcomer WSB Mumbai from India. The teams will have 2 fights with each team in their group: one in their home arena and one abroad. In the last season that was the first one for The Astana Arlans the Kazakh team reached the WSB final, but then lost 4:6 to the French Paris United.
