Head of the Kazakh Government Karim Massimov had a meeting with US Special Representative for Afghanistan and Pakistan Marc Grossman, according to Karim Massimov’s Facebook. “Met with US Special Representative for Afghanistan and Pakistan,” Massimov wrote in his Twitter. The parties discussed bilateral cooperation in the framework of international organizations, strengthening of regional security and countering international drug trafficking and terrorist threats. Earlier today Marc Grossman met with Foreign Minister of Kazakhstan Yerzhan Kazykhanov to discuss inclusion of Kazakhstan into the list of specially designated countries. Grossman said that Kazakhstan does not pose a terrorist threat. “That was a report that has nothing to do with any particular countries, but concerns only particular individuals,” he said.
