Shvedova won US Open doubles in Washington

Kazakhstan tennis professional Yaroslava Shvedova coupled with Sania Mirza won the doubles of the WTA tournament in Washington D.C., official website of the WTA reports. In the finals of the WTA Washington Open Yaroslava Shedova from Kazakhstan and Sania Mirza from India won Alla Kudryavtseva from Russia and Olga Gocortsova from Belarus in two sets 6:3, 6:3. The victorious pair earned $11,000 and 280 points in the WTA rating by this victory.
