President of Tajikistan Emomali Rakhmon will come to Astana to take part in the informal summit of heads of member-countries of the Collective Security Treaty Organisation (CSTO) on August 12, Interfax-Kazakhstan reports citing representative of the President’s press-service. “The summit will cover issues related to security in Central Asian region and military-technical cooperation within the Organization,” the agency’s source said. He also added that the summit will be informal and will not involve signing of any documents. “However, the most significant initiatives are usually discussed at such meetings before putting them on paper,” the representative of Tajikistan President’s press-service said. It is planned that Rakhmon will hold several bilateral meetings with his colleagues from the CSTO on the sidelines of the summit.
