Kazakhstan is inviting the PM David Cameron of the United Kingdom to pay the first ever official visit to Astana, Novosti Kazakhstan reports, citing the Press Service of the Foreign Ministry. Respective invitation on behalf of Kazakhstan was extended by Foreign Minister Erzhan Kazykhanov at a meeting with UK's Foreign Secretary William Hague during a tour round Europe. “The parties emphasized that the forthcoming sitting of the Kazakh-British Trade and Industry Council and the Kazakhstan’s Growth Forum will give a strong impetus to the bilateral cooperation”, the statement issued following the talks reads. The sides reiterated their nations’ stance on non-proliferation. William Hague confirmed that the UK would be attending the Forum for Nuclear-Free World to be held in Astana in October.
