Kazakhstan and the United States will discuss visas, citizenship and adoption, Tengrinews.kz reports citing the head of press-service of Kazakhstan Ministry of Foreign Affairs Ilyas Omarov. Kazakhstan-American consular consultations start in Washington on July 18. They will last until July 20. Kazakhstan delegation to the US Department of State is headed by Executive Secretary of Foreign Ministry Rapil Zhoshibayev. The delegation consists of representatives of several government bodies. “The plan is to discuss a wide range of consular issues, such as exchange of information on persons accused of crimes, information on lost and stolen passports, citizenship issues, including mechanisms and procedures of document preparation, implementation of electronic passports, international adoption, border securityinfrastructure, unification of consular fees for all categories and number of entries to $140,” Ilyas Omarov said.
