Nursultan Nazarbayev ratified Amendment to Nuclear Material Protection Convention

President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev has ratified the Amendment to Nuclear Material Protection Convention, the presidential website reports. Kazakhstan joined the Convention on December 22, 2004. The Convention is meant to insure protection from theft and other ways of illegal seizure of nuclear material in the course of its use, storage or transportation.
