Kazakhstan dancer Aidos Zakan became winner of the 4th International Ballet Artists Contest in Seoul, Express K reports. 24-y.o. Zakan participated in the contest for the third time. He took the second prize in 2010 and received a special jury's prize in 2007. 75 artists from around the world took part in the contest. After the victory Zakan received three offers: from National Korean Theater, from Universal Ballet company and from Kiev Theater of Opera and Ballet. Zakan, however, is planning to continue his career in Kazakhstan. “I have already worked in several famous theaters: in Mikhalovskiy Theater of Saint-Petersburg, Kremlin Theater and Stanislavskiy Theater in Moscow and Kazan Opera and Ballet Theater. Despite of the fact that the salary offered in Seoul is ten-times higher than what I get in Kazakhstan, I am planning to fulfil my potential in the motherland. I want to live close to my family. On the other hand, I like flexible schedule that would allow me to take part in tours,” the dancer said.
