Cooking on high heels by a young writer from Kazakhstan Kira Maisheva has been presented today in one of Meloman bookstores, Tengrinews.kz reports. The new cooking book combines baking recipes, essays on style, fashion and historic events. The writer says that this is the first book in its kind in Kazakhstan, because besides cooking recipes it contains much about fashion. It is meant for the women who look after themselves, work on their careers and like to treat their families with tasty dishes. Kira Maisheva from Almaty is planning to present her second book about hot dishes soon. The debuting writer is also thinking about holding cooking master-classes. Kira has a website that formed the basis of her book. She already has her own fans and regular readers. Kira Maisheva knowledge that baking is what she likes the most. Her parents allowed her to try herself at baking when she was 9. And that is when her cooking spree began, she recalled. Speaking about her book Maisheva said that she likes the chapter about experiments the most. “I don’t like being stagnant, I am always searching for something new. This chapter has a recipe for baking with vegetables. Unusual and extraordinary – this is what I am about,” Kira said.
