The first stage of bike race completed in Kazakhstan, Tengrinews.kz reports citing biker Dmitry Petrukhin. According to Petrukhin, 40 bikers from different cities of Kazakhstan took part in the race that started on July 2 in Almaty. The participants visited six cities during the first stage of the tournament: Ust-Kamenogorsk, Karaganda, Temirtau, Balkhash, Almaty and Astana. “We started in Almaty and headed to Balkhash. Balkhash's administration met us and then we moved to Karaganda,” he said. “40 bikers joined us in Karaganda. Then we headed to the capital. We had some technical problems on the way. I would lilke to add that we were met very warmly in Karaganda.” Annual bike-festival will be held on Balkhash lake on July 15-17. The bikers will continue their race after the festival. They are planning to visit 20 cities of Kazakhstan.
