Astana cyclist won second round of Austrian Tour

Swedish cyclist of Kazakhstan cycling team Astana Fredrik Kessiakoff won the second round of multi-day Tour of Austria, the team’s official website writes. He was 1 minute and 14 seconds ahead of his closes competitor, Mauro Santambrogio. Kazakhstan cyclist Andrey Mizurov was 13th with 3 minutes and 39 seconds behind Fredrik Kessiakoff. Kessiakoff became first in general classification as well. He is followed by Santambrogio and Czech cyclist Leopold Kening. Austrian tour contains eight rounds. The third round will be held today, July 5. The reserve squad of Astana is cycling in Austrian Tour. The main squad is now cycling at Tour de France, where after three rounds Dmitriy Fofonov and Aleksandr Vinokurov are 32 seconds behind the leader, Norwegian cyclist Thor Hushovd, and hold 26th and 27th places, respectively.
