July 4-6 Astana is hosting the 2nd ASTANA MINING & METALLURGY, an important event in mining and metallurgical industry, which annually represents and unites interests of business, government, and science. The event is being held at the Congress hall of the Independence Palace in Astana. Over 1360 participants from 25 countries are taking part in the event. Today’s event will feature a plenary session on perspectives of consolidated world mining and metallurgical sector and three separate sessions: Governmental Regulation of Mining and Metallurgical Industry: Efficient Approaches and Positive Experience, Innovations and Scientific Developments - Ways to Solve Systematic Problems of Mining and Metallurgical Complex, and Recovered activity of metal and capital markets. July 5 the participants will be having panel discussions and master classes to be followed by main entertainment events to celebrate Astana’s birthday July 6. Among the confirmed participants are Karim Massimov, Prime-Minister of RK; Asset Issekeshev, Minister of industry and new technologies of RK; Xavier Rolet, Chief Executive London Stock Exchange Group; Lawrence Fok, Chief Marketing Officer, Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing Limited; Norbert Jousten, European Union Ambassador and many others.
