Prime Minister Karim Massimov to launch direct flights between Kazakhstan and France

During his visit to France Kazakhstan’s Prime Minister Karim Massimov will discuss launching direct flights between the two nations, "Interfax-Kazakhstan" reports. “We will definitely dwell on economic issues. One of the major projects is about launching direct flights between our nations. I hope the project will succeed”, Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of France in the Republic of Kazakhstan Mr. Jean-Charles Berthonnet said. Kazakhstan’s Prime Minister Karim Massimov is expected to visit France June 26-27, Tengrinews.kz had reported earlier, citing the PM’s blog. KazTag, citing Christiane Keriel, adviser to the General Directorate of higher education, had reported that Kazakhstan and France are expected to “sign agreements for Kazakhstan’s young researchers to have internships with leading technical universities of France”. France and Kazakhstan had signed contracts worth two billion euros during a Paris visit of Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev in October 2010.
