The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan has released a statement condemning the recent terrorist attacks in Tunisia, Kuwait, Egypt and Nigeria, Tengrinews reports.

Kazakhstan expressed concern over the deterioration of the situation in these regions and terrorist attacks that claimed the lives of dozens of people, mostly civilians.

Kazakhstan specifically expressed condolences to the people of Tunisia, Kuwait, Egypt and Nigeria over the recent terrorist attacks.

“Being part of the international community, Kazakhstan expresses concern over the situation in these countries and strongly condemns terrorism in all its forms and manifestation and stands for collective efforts of all nations to eradicate this phenomenon (terrorism). Kazakhstan believes that terrorist attacks pose a threat to the global security. Kazakhstan’s position is based on the international law and relevant resolutions of the United Nations Security Council. We believe it is necessary to make collective efforts under the auspices of the United Nations against the spread of terrorism and extremism and to address economic and social problems that deprive people in the Middle East and Africa of opportunities,” Kazakhstan’s Foreign Ministry said.
