Nursultan Nazarbayev has called onto the regions torn apart by bloodsheds to learn peacefulness from Kazakhstan, Tengrinews reports.
During the forum after the election in Kazakhstan, he thanked the voters and said his eyes well with tears at the sight of queues at polling stations.
“We will be united inside. We will be true to our commitments, to our allies and partners around Kazakhstan and in the whole world. We will strengthen peace at home, contribute to peace in our region,” he said.
He also stressed that Kazakhstan advocated for an end to conflicts wherever there was bloodshed. “We urge everyone to look at Kazakhstan, to learn how this multi-religious and multi-ethnic country can live in peace, turning it into advantages, rather than disadvantages," Nazarbayev declared.
He stressed that this unity would help Kazakhstan achieve its goals. "I offered five new popular reforms: professional government, rule of law, support to businesses, on this foundation we will be building our identity and continuing on the path of democratization. All of this is a new stage and hard work, and we must overcome the difficulties. I wish all of us success in the implementation of new goals for Kazakhstan,” he said.
"The elections are now over. It is time for serious work. We know what to do. During the election campaign, a lot of explanation of the proposed reforms was done. We must fully implement the project of Kazakhstan’s industrialization, build a second economy, create millions of new jobs with new quality income and professionalism. We have to implement Nurly Zhol program and cover the entire Kazakhstan with roads, railways and power lines, and thus once again strengthen our economic connections and make Kazakhstan a transit country," Nazarbayev said.
