Kazakhstan is ranking 8th in the world by recruitment activity

Kazakhstan is on the 8th place in the world rating by recruiting activity and holds a leading position in Asia, Antal, recruiting company says on its website referring to its quarterly review. Antal Russia, a leading executive recruitment consultancy serving Russia and the CIS, says that 70% of Kazakh companies will continue hiring executives and top management personnel in the nearest quarter, 74% are planning additional recruitment, 40% will definitely terminate contracts with their personnel and 29% are considering doing so. India is ahead of all the other regions with 81% of companies thinking about hiring more staff. While Germany is lagging far behind with only 31% interested in new personnel. The post-crisis period is seeing a surge in Kazakhstan’s economy and a reactivation of recruitment processes. New companies coming to the Kazakh market, multinational corporations open up their offices and hire local employees. Wages and social packages that were cut during the crisis are now starting to restore, says Natalya Kurkchi, Director General of Antal Kazakhstan. «The wages offers are improving, not aggressively, but steadily. What’s important, the employers are once again starting to offer social packaged that were cut during the crisis. This is a positive signal,” she says. The number of open vacancies has increased. Oil and gas, b2b, FMCG sectors are the leaders in demand for executive and top management personnel in Kazakhstan. Banks are interested in hiring risk-managers, financial and investment analysts. Demand for sales managers is high in a whole range of industries. Asian and Pacific region is in the first place by recruitment activity in 2010. But the trend started changing in 2011 with North and Latin Americas showing the highest activity in recruiting managers: around 70% of companies have announced vacancies.
