Russia’s President Dmitry Medvedev will take part in the Anniversary meeting of the Council of Heads of the SCO (Shanghai Cooperation Organization) member-states in Astana, the President’s official website writes.
The summit timed to 10th anniversary of the Organization will be held on June 14-15. It is expected that Chinese President Hu Jintao will also take part in the meeting.
The summit will review the results of SCO activities in the past 10 years. Besides, participants of the meeting will define the directions of further development of the SCO and exchange opinions on international and regional issues.
