Power experts decided to kill two birds with one stone: to improve the company's image and save themselves the trouble of fighting with not quite highly artistic drawings on the walls. 30 recently repaired transformer boxes were selected for a start. They will be decorated by graffiti artists. To make sure there are no more obscene drawings, the company gave the event a competition format with all its components: strict judges, prize pool and a concept. One of the conditions of the contest is that each participant has to submit an official application by June 15 and provide a draft of the future drawing. The topics of graffiti paintings have to be strictly followed. The selection is quite broad: from “The 20th Anniversary of Independence” to “My City” and “The World Without Drugs.” “Organizers will supply all materials required for this job. The main thing is that the artists will be officially permitted to draw. This is important as any independent actions of the lind are considered by law-enforcement authorities as waste of someone's property.
