Annual Bilateral Consultations between Kazakhstan and the United States are going to take place in Astana on 24-25, Tengrinews.kz correspondent reports. After the meeting of the countries’ state secretaries Kanat Saudabayev and Hillary Clinton it was agreed to hold the second political consultations in Astana in late March, Kazakhstan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs says. Representatives of interested state bodies of Kazakhstan and their American counterparts are expected to take part. The participants will discuss security cooperation, political issues, democracy and human rights, economic relations, social development and energy. The agreement to start holding these Kazakh-US political consultations was reached last February between Kanat Saudabayev and Hillary Clinton. The establishment of Annual Bilateral Consultations between Kazakhstan and the United States was another step forward in the ever-strengthening relationship between the two nations.
