Malaysia’s Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak met Kazakhstan’s Prime Minister Karim Massimov in Astana today, June 6, Kazakh PM’s web site reports. Following the talks, a number of documents have been signed. A trilateral agreement was signed among Zhambyl oblast Governor’s Office, Smart Agro Karkara Ltd and National Feedlot Corporation Sdn. Bhd to launch a cattle breeding complex in Zhambyl oblast in the South of Kazakhstan. The project is to be implemented in 2011. The total of investments is estimated at $30 million. The two foreign ministers – Erzhan Kazykhanov of Kazakhstan and Anifah Aman of Malaysia - have agreed to allocate land plots for construction of diplomatic representation offices. Besides, Kazakhstan’s Ministry of Tourism and Sports signed a protocol of cooperation with ALM Builders Sdn. Bhd. Malaysia’s Prime Minister arrived in Kazakhstan June 5, he will be taking part in the 7th World Islamic Economic Forum to be held in Astana June 7-9, 2011.
