Gaukhar Yermakbayeva, a boxer from Kazakhstan, has won gold at the World Youth Championship in Bulgaria, Vesti.kz reports. She won the gold in the -69kg weight division and 1995-96 age category. Gaukhar is from Almaty Oblast. Kazakhstan athletes won the total of 16 medals, including 6 silver ones and nine bronze medals. Aidana Aralbayeva gained silver medal in the same age category as Gaukhar but in the -60kg weight division. Alua Balkiyeva (-48kg), Valentina Khalzova (-75kg) and Anastasia Rylina (-81kg) took bronze medals. The 2013 AIBA Women's Junior/Youth World Boxing Championships took place in the city of Albena, Bulgaria, on September 20-29, 2013. Nearly 300 athletes from 32 countries participated in the World Championship.
