Boxer Serik Sapiyev, a gold winner of the 2012 London Summer Olympics, has received Kazakhstan presidential education scholarship Bolashak. He will study sports management at Brunel University in London, bolashak.kz reports.
The total of 1093 scholarships was set aside for the year 2013. 17 of them were issued in March, 282 were awarded in June and 427 were given in August by the decision of National Commission.
Not long ago Serik Sapiyev was nominated for the UNESCO Champion for Sport title.
