Deputy chairman of Samruk-Kazyna National Welfare Fund Yelena Bakhmutova was elected chairman of the board of KazPochta, Tengrinews.kz reports citing Kazakhstan National Bank’s Financial Market and Financial Organizations Control Commission.
According to the authority, Bakhmutova was approved by the Commission on August 15.
She has served as the chairman of Kazakhstan Agency for Regulation and Control of Financial Market and Financial Organizations from January 2008 to the present. In January 2012 she added the post of deputy chairman of Samruk-Kazyna to her list positions and in February 2013 she also became chairwoman of BTA Bank’s Board.
