Kazakh citizens can find out the number and address of their voting station by email, Tengrinews.kz reports referring to the Central Election Commission’s press service. To do so they need to email their personal data to [email protected]. In a reply message they will receive the number and address of their local voting station. “To make a search through the lists of votes and to obtain the information on the voting station that a certain citizen is attached to, the voter needs to email his/her inquiry to [email protected]. In order to be processed the inquiry should contain the person’s surname, name, patronymic, data of birth, ID card number or individual identification number (IIN). “Should the search yield no positive result the citizen would be recommended to apply to his local executive authority office or local election commission,” the Central Election Commission of Kazakhstan has announced.
