German producer of mare's milk Hans Zollmann will visit Almaty and share his experience with Kazakhstan milk producers, Tengrinews.kz reports citing organizers of Gastroenterology-2011 international congress. He will present a report called 50 years of mare's milk and kumys production in Germany. German producer will come for the congress to be held in June 2-3. The congress will discussed modern techniques of mare's milk and kumys therapy. Kumys is a fermented drink made from mare's milk. It is traditional for countries of Central Asia. Zollmann is very proud that Kazakhstan people like his kumys. Besides Germany, the drink is also made in Austria, Holand and Italy. Earlier Tengrinews.kz English reported that kumys chocolate was made in Belgium. Each choc is decorated with a horse image. The strong scent of the mare's milk is underscored by orange peel odor.
