The mother of shot in the USA Kirill Denyakin received a letter from the U.S. Assistant Secretary of State for South Asia and Central Asia Robert Blake, Channel Seven reports. The letter says that the policeman Steven Rankin gave his testimony in a hearing. However, the details of his testimony are not given as the investigation has a “closed manner.” Denyakin's mother says that the lawyer John D. Hooker is planning to sue Rankin, but she doubts a positive outcome: “It is difficult to sue police. They have internal instruction which I don't know. But I think any instruction allows use of firearms.” But the lawyers are optimistic about the case. They carried out their own investigation. 26-year-old Karaganda citizen Kirill Denyakin was shot by the policeman in Portsmouth on April 23. Denyakin was unarmed, but the police officer Steven Rankin made 11 shots killing him on the spot. Before the tragedy Denyakin had been working as a hotel cook in Portsmouth for 2 years. Kazakhstan Foreign Affairs Ministry sent a protest note to the US in relation to this incident. Members of Bolashak movement passed a letter to the US President Barack Obama calling for a fair investigation into the death of Kirill Denyakin.
