Atyrau citizen was sentenced to 7 years in jail for beating up her step son in an attempt to make him a suicide bomber, Tengrinews.kz reports citing the press-secretary of Atyrau oblast court Boranbai Galiyev.
According to him, the woman was charged with Preparing a Crime and Attempting a Crime, Torture of Minors, Propagating Terrorism and Public Calls to Terrorist Attacks. Besides, 10 extremist books were discovered during a search in the criminal’s house.
According to Galiyev, the prosecutor said that the convict was preparing her step son to become a suicide bomber. It turned out that she married a Salafism adept who had two children with his first wife. In 2012 he was killed during a police operation to arrest him. Raising her step son she was beat him and repeated that he had to become a suicide bomber and wear a Shaheed belt to meet his father in heaven after death.
The prosecutor said that the woman inoculated to her son that he had to enter the quarters of the National Security Commission and commit the terrorist attack there.
