Tennis: Kazakhstan athlete wins ITF Tennis Tournament in Egypt

Kazakhstan tennis professional Kamila Kerimbayeva has won the ITF (International Tennis Federation) Tennis Championship in Sharm-el-Sheikh, Egypt, Vesti.kz reports.
17-y.o. Kamila beat Ivana Horvat from Austria (6:1, 6:0) in the first round of the tennis tournament in Sharm-el-Sheikh. Her next round against Switzerland's Kim Jana Hausler also ended in Kamila's favor with the same score. In the 1/4 finals Kerimbayeva won over Russian Alina Mikheeva (6:2, 6:2), and in the semi-finals she eliminated Polish Sylwia Zagorska from the tournament.
Kerimbayeva played against Vladyslava Zanosiyenko from Ukraine in the finals. The match ended with the score of 6:2, 6:4 in favor of the Kazakhstan player. Kamila won every single set she played in the championship.
In the doubles Kerimbayeva paired with Lidiya Morozova from Belarus lost to Ukrainian duo of Veronika Stotyka and Vladyslava Zanosiyenko in the semi-finals.
The prize fund of the championship was $10 000.
