French President Francois Hollande's popularity plummeted in March, with 67 percent of his countrymen saying they were dissatisfied with his performance and less than a third of them saying they were happy with it, AFP reports according to an opinion poll. The survey, carried out by pollster OpinionWay for newspaper Metro and broadcaster LCI between March 9-14, showed that the number of people unhappy with the president's work had grown by 10 percentage points since February. Prime Minister Jean-Marc Ayrault also saw his popularity wane from last month, with 62 percent of the 1,010 people polled in the survey saying they were dissatisfied, and 31 percent responding they were satisfied. The most popular minister in the ruling Socialist government was Interior Minister Manuel Valls, with 58 percent satisfaction. Among the opposition, former foreign minister Alain Juppe was the most popular, garnering 47 percent of the satisfaction votes. All poll participants were aged 18 or over.
