Kazakhstan National Bank will issue a new 10-thousand note to commemorate the 20th anniversary of Kazakhstan Independence, Tengrinews.kz reports citing press-service of Karaganda branch of Kazakhstan National Bank. Kazakhstan people will celebrate the 20th anniversary of Independence on December 16, 2011 and the anniversary note will be issued on July 4. Number of notes to be issued is still unknown. The new note will be 149 mm in length and 79 mm in width. Violet and blue colors will prevail on the note. The note's front will have an image of Kazakh eli monument which is located in Astana, doves, lettering of the value in Kazakh language and the sign of Kazakhstan ulttyk banky (Kazakhstan National Bank). The reverse side's main image will be Akorda (Kazakhstan President's residency in Astana), digital symbol of the value and its lettering in Russian language.
